"In April 2023, the US SBA released a guideline update for the loan program.  Effective August 1, 2023, new updates were made to the standard operating procedure. These changes include; an option for partial business acquisition, new rules on equity injection, simplified affiliation standards, streamlined criteria for determining creditworthiness, elimination of liquidity tests, and elimination of hazard insurance for a loan under $500,000. Stay tuned for our blog that will dive into these new SBA SOP changes."
